HINO RESEARCH / Ownership guide

Hino emissions campaigns and service records

Use the truck’s VIN and dated service records to understand its emissions-campaign position. Historical explanations of SCR are useful context, but they do not establish current coverage or completed work.

Start at the Canadian VIN lookup

Hino Canada provides an emissions modification lookup for extended emissions warranty information associated with campaigns ECR-H0002-25-001 and ECR-H0002-25-002. Check the correct VIN and ask a dealer to clarify the result for the individual truck. Save the dated response and any completion documentation; no eligibility result has been generated on this page.

Distinguish a campaign record from a maintenance record

Campaign completion, warranty coverage and regular servicing answer different questions. Request all three where relevant. Review fault reports, aftertreatment repair invoices and the dates and odometer readings attached to them. A completed campaign does not prove that every unrelated component is in good condition.

Use historical SCR information within its era

Hino’s older Canadian SCR page discusses EPA2010-era equipment. Do not transfer its tank capacity, service intervals or fuel-consumption examples into current L or XL specifications. Obtain the operator and service guidance for the exact engine and year, especially when planning a different route or stationary duty.
